Since the official language of SDSN is Norwegian, some of the representative roles in our organisation require that you speak a Scandinavian language. However, if you want to contribute, we urge you to consider becoming a class representative or a member of our International Committee.
Class representatives
As class representative your job is to be the class’ spokesperson and handle issues and cases that your class reports. You will meet with relevant USN staff such as lecturers, course supervisors and programme coordinators to try and find good solutions for your class. You will also be a part of the student council which meets once a month. This council consists of all the class representatives at your faculty on campus.
International committee
The International Committee works to safeguard the interests, well-being, and welfare of international students, and ensures that they are taken care of at USN. All students can contact the committee regarding matters that concern or directly affect internationalization or international students. The committee consists of one representative from each of USN’s eight campuses.
